This dress was worn for 1 amazing evening for my October 2016 wedding, then was professionally cleaned and has been in a smoke free home in garment bag since.

This dress was ordered a size 16, but has been altered to roughly 14 chest, 12 waist, 16 hips and is made to length for about a 5' 6" woman. My approximate size was 39" chest, 32.5" waist, 44.5" hips- 5'6" and 170 lbs.
I had an over/under bustle put in. The under bustle is easy to put up with color coordinated ribbons. The over bustle was made with invisible thread and the white buttons you can see in the pictures blending in with the ruffles. The invisible thread did break and the outer bustle failed but the dress stayed up. New attachments would need to be put on to make the outer bustle work again. gold wedding dresses
I had my seamstress add cups inside the dress for more comfort and then added a bra chest strap to keep the dress up. I never had to pull up the dress even after all night walking around and dancing.
I also have a matching sash and veil. The sash is meant to go around the waistline, but last minute I chose not to wear it. The veil was only worn for the ceremony and the edge threading matches the light gold colors on the dress.
I paid $2400 between the dress and alterations. When I first bought it I searched for another that was being sold for less than retail and could not find one.
This dress made me feel amazing in so many ways and I would love to help another bride feel the same way. I was terrified of an all white dress and this gown could not have made me happier.
